Leaving a Lasting Mark

The graduating seniors of the Class of 2009 will be leaving the University a gift that will forever leave a lasting mark on the Missouri State University campus. The 2009 class has chosen to dedicate their gift to the flagpoles that stand outside the main entrance of the new JQH Arena. This will be a visible and prominent gift that will be a source of pride for the community and the class of 2009 for years to come. The three flagpoles stand outside the main entrance of the arena and will fly the American flag, State of Missouri flag and the Missouri State University flag. The gift from the Class of 2009 will be recognized on a plaque on the center flagpole.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to leave a lasting mark in the JQH Arena that will be visited by millions of students, alumni, friends and community members for years to come.

Traditionally seniors are asked to give a gift of $25 to their senior class gift. By participating in the campaign, you will receive a Missouri State University Alumni Association card; (this card will entitle you for one year to: use Meyer Library; Hammons Student Center with a daily usage fee (only Missouri State alumni with a current Alumni Association card may use the facility and/or purchase a membership) and drawstring bag from the Missouri State University Alumni Association which you can pick up anytime during regular business hours at the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. A new benefit EXCLUSIVELY for Alumni donors making qualified gifts of $25 or more. Upon presentation of an “active” alumni membership card, alumni are entitled to a 10% discount on Bearwear at the Missouri State Bookstore, JQH Team Store and online at www.missouristatebookstore.com with a provided coupon code.*
