The Bears Fund is the annual fund-raising program for men's and women's intercollegiate athletics at Missouri State University. The fund was established in conjunction with the University's decision in 1981 to move to Division 1 in all men's and women's sports, with the exception of football which competes at the Division 1-AA level.
Although Athletics receives a portion of its operating funds from the University, private contributions are needed to offset the growing demands of competing at a higher level. As Bears fans, you can play a direct role in helping achieve future success for the total Bears athletic program in Division 1. While the Bears teams continue to grow and excel, rewards have already been realized in terms of improved level of competition, increased fan interest and national exposure.
Through your enthusiasm and interest in supporting the efforts of those who wear the colors of maroon and white, the opportunity for continued success is much greater. Join the growing number of individuals who are making contributions to The Bears Fund. Your financial assistance helps student athletes receive a college education while representing the University.
