Giving Day is almost here. For 36 hours, Bears everywhere will come together to support the people, programs and experiences that make Missouri State extraordinary. This year’s theme, Celebrate MO State, is an invitation to honor what you love most about our university. It is a chance to celebrate student success, academic excellence, campus pride and the shared belief that generosity changes lives.

What a moment for Missouri State! In our very first season as an FBS program, the
Bears are heading to their first-ever bowl game — the Xbox Bowl in Frisco, Texas,
where we’ll take on Arkansas State. This milestone is more than a game; it’s a celebration
of the hard work, grit and pride that define what it means to be a Bear. We want you
to be part of this historic experience. We have plenty of fun planned for Bears fans.

The Missouri State University Foundation announced more than $12.5 million in new
gifts during its annual Board of Trustees meeting on Nov. 13. The gifts from both
individuals and businesses support student scholarships, Mo State athletics, construction
of the Clifton M. Smart III University Advancement Center and other programs and areas
at Missouri State.

meeting at the Darr Agricultural Center. These dedicated members came together with
a shared purpose to guide and support initiatives that lead to transformative change
at Missouri State.

Missouri State University has officially broken ground on the new Clifton M. Smart
III University Advancement Center. The ceremony, held on the northwest corner of National
Avenue and Bear Boulevard, marks the beginning of a project that promises to play
a major role in the university’s future. It is expected to open in fall 2026.
