MSU is offering an opportunity this season for fans to travel to a Lady Bear road
game, with bus trips to Mizzoui on Wed., Dec. 6. The cost includes bus fare, one game
ticket and a boxed meal. A minimum of 50 passengers is required to make the trip,
which leaves from the Bear Park North before the game and returns that same day.

Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith will headline Missouri State baseball's
Step Up to the Plate event, presented by Loren Cook Company, scheduled for Wednesday,
Dec. 6, at Old Glass Place (521 E St. Louis St.) in Springfield.
Bears supporters and baseball fans alike will have the chance to be a part of the
fifth edition of the Bears' fundraising dinner, which will also include live and silent
auctions. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with a buffet dinner served at 6 p.m. and a program
featuring a Q&A with the former St. Louis Cardinal great to follow. A cash bar will
also be available.
